Screening of periodontal disease related Bacteria in Iraqi patients and their relationship with salivary TLR2 and IL-6 level

The oral cavity has the second major and most diverse microflora after gut. Since it is starting point of digestion; microbiota essential for maintaining systemic health. Thus, this study aimed to find bacterial isolates which act as a causative agent periodontal diseases in Iraqi patients their relation with some immune parameters. Saliva specimens swabs 91 (51) control individuals (40) were collected study. from Al-Amirya Almaamon Specialized Dental Centers Baghdad period November/2021 February/2022. microbiological results revealed, that prevalent related genus, was descending graduated into Staphylococcus spp.74.5%> Enterobacteriaceae spp.62.7% > Streptococcus spp. 13.7% Acinetobacter spp.13.7% Neisseria spp.9.8% Bacillus spp.5.8% Corynebacterium 3.9% Pseudomonas spp.3.9%, same context, acidic pH patient's or control's mouths more conducive development than other items. As well by using ELISA technique, soluble form TLR2 7.384 ± 4.031 ng/ml elucidated significant increase group 5.313 3.106 ng/ml, while interleukin 6 shows strange both saliva 50161 63869, 52087 62756 ng/ l respectively.
